Private DMZ tour from Hue. 8:00 we will pick you up from your hotel in Hue downtown then heading North to Quang Tri. On the way we will have a brief stop at bullet torn school of Bo De - a testament of heavy fighting in 1972 during Easter Offensive. Next stop will be Quang Tri citadel famous for 81 days and nights fighting between North Vietnam Army (PAVN) and South Vietnam Army (ARVN) at the same time of the peace talks undergoing in Paris.
Arrival in Dong Ha city, pay a visit to Mine Action Visitor center which displays activities of removing Explosive Remnants of War (ERW) after the war. Heading West along Highway 9 to the next stop of The Rockpile - a US Marine artillery firebase and observation post. Last stop in the morning is Khe Sanh Combat Base – a US Marine combat base which holds the longest single battle of Vietnam war (77 days). Khe Sanh is considered as another 'Dien Bien Phu' for American.
Note: Camp Carroll (a Marine artillery base) is a bonus stop upon your request. For a stop at Lang Vei special force camp, please inform us beforehand in your email or call prior to the tour date.
14:00 lunch in Khe Sanh town or Cam Lo. On the way to Cam Lo you can local Bru ethnic people village to see a local market selling products (avocado, bamboo shoot, ging sen, dragon-eye fruit, pineapple, ...)

15:30 after lunch you can have a stop at a Bomb House (unique house made from many types of bomb shells and a personal collection of war remnants of a local scrap metal businessman). Nearby is Ho Chi Minh trail and Truong Son national military cemetery we can pay a visit upon request before driving to DMZ Freedom bridge crossing Ben Hai river at 17th parallel - former border of North and South Vietnam. Take a look at National Unification Memorial, the ICCS building and museum to understand the strong will of reunification of Ho Chi Minh. Last stop of the day is Vinh Moc tunnel – the underground hideout for villagers hiding American bombing Rolling Thunder operation. The tunnels shows harsh living conditions during the war and a real testament for Vietnamese determination of fighting.
17:30 go back to your hotel in Hue. Great farewell!
