Day 1: Dong Hoi (airport, train station, hotel) - Phong Nha cave and Paradise cave and possible Commander cave - Dong Ha
9:00 we will pick you up from your hotel in Dong Hoi city (Nam Long plus, Muong Thanh Nhat Le, Saigon Quang Binh) then going to Phong Nha - Ke Bang national park.
After about 1 hour drive, we will reach the Visitor Center waiting for our guide a few minutes to do the paperwork. We then embark on the boat to cruise along the Son river about 30 minutes. Appearing in front of your eyes is Phong Nha cave mouth in the shape of triangle. A few more minutes of paperwork from the sailor. We penetrate into Phong Nha cave, dubbed as Dragon cave since it's shape like a dragon inside the mountain. You will admire many spectacular patterns of stalactites and stalagmites like Lady Buddha, Ceiling Bulb, The Lion, Mother and Son, ... when passing by many caverns of Fairy, Bi Ki, Royal Palace, ... Turn around when we reach the 1200m deep and disembark to start walking the dry part of Phong Nha cave. Now it's your time for photo selfie.
Get back to boat cruising back to pier, we will continue to Paradise cave - the longest cave in Phong Nha Ke Bang national park with the total length of 31,4 km. Paradise cave was just discovered in 2005 and open for tourist in 2010. Though it's not a wet cave like Phong Nha, Paradise Cave has its own distinctive beauty of a dry cave with the cave mouth located at the top of a mountain. This requires you a bit difficult walking from mountain foot to mountain top about 670m of 10% slope. You will be surprised by the tiny of the cave mouth but the huge cave behind it. The stalactites and stalagmites here are much more beautiful than those at Phong Nha cave. Along the wooden pathway that you'll stroll, many patterns will appear like Lotus Tower, Vietnam's Pisa Tower, The Ethnic House, The Rabbit, The Sky Tower, ...Stroll back to the cave mouth, get down heaps of staircases, our private vehicle will take you all the way to you accommodation in Dong Ha city.
Note: please let us know if you wish to include Commander Cave to this day.
