This tour is designed for travellers who do not have much time in Central Vietnam but still want to see the DMZ area. The bonus of this trip is you can also have chance to watch spectacular Hai Van pass, beautiful Tam Giang lagoon and magnificent Imperial city of Hue (no visit) of Thua Thien Hue province on the way to the DMZ area of Quang Tri province. The distance shall be around 450 km in total for the round trip Da Nang to DMZ and back from DMZ to Da Nang including stops at Vinh Moc tunnel - a refuge for villagers of Vinh Linh district to live for almost 2000 days (1967-1972) under bombing rain and fire storm of US operation named Rolling Thunder (1965-1968); Hien Luong bridge a.k.a. DMZ Freedom bridge and the Ben Hai river at 17th parallel - the physical border between 2 Vietnams , Mine Action Visitor Center in Dong Ha city where Explosive Remnants of War (ERW) collections displayed to public showing the efforts of RENEW (Restore Environment and Neutralise the Effects of War) , National Cemetery of Highway 9 where more than 10.000 soldiers Rest In Peace, Quang Tri citadel where hold the 81-day battle between NVA and ARVN during the blistering summer of 1972 from June 28th to September 16th, and La Vang Cathedral with bell tower still standing as a testament to the fierceness of the so called Easter Offensive 1972. La Vang cathedral is considered a holy land for the Vietnamese Catholic community as a pilgrimage site.

We do assign some rest stop along the way from Da Nang city to the DMZ for your stretching out or a lunch break (upon your request). You can ask for a break at any time you find it necessary and can bring any snack, foods along to skip lunch break. There's opportunity for you to discover local food specialties with stop at local restaurant about which not-many-tourists know. This is also very suitable for those who love photography since you would travel the most beautiful part of Vietnam with mountains, rivers, sea, sand, blue clear sky with clean air environment, no pollution, evergreen acacia forest.
