Day 1: Hoi An to Hue
Morning checkout hotel in Hoi An transfer to Hue. En route stops at Hai Van pass, Lang Co beach, Lap An lagoon. Drive straight to your hotel in Hue for check-in. Afternoon visit Imperial citadel - the residence of the royal family of the last Nguyen dynasty of Vietnam over 143 years. Overnight in Hue city.

Day 2: Hue to Phong Nha
Morning checkout, take a dragon boat cruise along Perfume river to Thien Mu pagoda - the oldest buddhist temple in the old capital city. Heading North to visit the DMZ with stops at Buddhism School - a last standing from 1972 Second Battle of Quang Tri, Quang Tri citadel - where held the 81-day bloody battles between North and South Vietnam, Mine Action Visitor Center - a display of Explosive Remnants of War found and collected in and around the DMZ, Hien Luong bridge crossing the Ben Hai river at 17th parallel in the middle of the DMZ, Vinh Moc tunnel - a refuge for 300 villagers to hide American bombing during the Vietnam war. Drive straight to your hotel in Phong Nha. Overnight in Phong Nha.

Day 3: Phong Nha to Vinh
Morning checkout, you're taken to Phong Nha cave - the most typical and unique underground river cave with many beautiful grottos, stalactites, stalagmites. Take a boat cruise on Son river to enjoy the tranquil and picturesque countryside landscape of Phong Nha village in Bo Trach district of Quang Binh province. Optional: visit Tien Son cave or dry cave which is considered twin brother of Phong Nha cave (wet cave). Drive straight to Vinh city. Overnight in Vinh.
Day 4: Vinh to Ninh Binh
Hotel checkout. Visit president Ho Chi Minh's birthplace or Uncle Ho's house at Lotus village, Nam Dan district of Nghe An province where he was born and lived during his childhood (his house is printed on the 500k note of Vietnam currency). Drive straight to Ninh Binh. Overnight in Ninh Binh.
Day 5: Ninh Binh to Ha Long
Morning take a boat ride on Ngo Dong river to visit Tam Coc with amazing view of limestone mountains dotted on rice paddy. Back to hotel for check-out. Continue onto Thung Nham eco-toursim birk park to watch many kinds of birds like egret, crane, ... and many kinds of flower such as daisy, bucketwheat, ...(optional) Drive straight to Ha Long. Overnight in Ha Long city
Day 6: Ha Long junk cruise
Morning take a junk cruise on Ha Long bay to visit Thien Cung cave, Dau Go cave, Dinh Huong islet (printed on the 200k note of Vietnam currency), Ga Choi islet, Sung Sot cave, and Titov island (named after a Soviet astronaut). Do a kayaking at a nearby fishing village. Cruise back to the city. Your leisure time at night. Suggestion: Dragon Park, Sun World Halong complex (Queen cable car, Moonlight water puppet show, ...)
Day 7: Ha Long to Ha Noi
Check out of hotel, you'll be taken to Ha Noi or airport for your outbound flight. Great farewell.
