Day 1: Ha Noi - Vinh
Morning pickup from Noi Bai international airport (or hotel in the old quarter of Hanoi) heading South towards Ninh Binh. Taking a circle around the capital city of Hanoi to see a huge construction job site before joining the Hanoi - Ninh Binh expressway to Ninh Binh. En route stop at a Rest Stop near Phu Ly city of Ha Nam province. Continue onto Highway 1A to Thanh Hoa city for lunch break. Thanh Hoa is the hometown of national hero Le Loi (1385 - 1433). You'll have chance to experience the chicken BBQ which is a yummy specialty of Thanh Hoa province. After a short break, we keep going towards the South with a stop at Tinh Gia district near Hoang Mai town of Nghe An province. Have some coconut drinks and maybe a nap for driver to refresh his mind before continuing to Vinh city - the birthplace of president Ho Chi Minh. Suggestion for dinner: Eel Rice Porridge. Overnight in Vinh city.

Day 2: Vinh - Hue
Check out of hotel in Vinh city, Nghe An province before continue Southbound trip to Ha Tinh city for coffee break. Ha Tinh is hometown of famous poet Nguyen Du. Trip towards the South will pass by Ngang pass - border between Dai Viet and Champa hundreds years ago. We might have a stop at General Vo Nguyen Giap who led the Vietminh to victory over the French at Dien Bien Phu battle (upon request). Crossing the Gianh river to appreciate the Southward expansions of Nguyen Hoang - pioneering father of Nguyen Dynasty who fled Hanoi towards the South to avoid the persecution of Trinh lords in the North. Lunch break in Dong Hoi city of Quang Binh province. Lunch suggestion: Banh cuon thit heo (Rice paper rolled with pork, vegetable and dipping sauce). Keep going towards the DMZ after lunch passing by the Hien Luong bridge crossing the border line between North Vietnam and South Vietnam during the Vietnam war. The flag at old imperial city of Hue waving welcomes you around 6:00 p.m. The transfer ends at your hotel.
